The Lattice Boom range from Energy Cranes comprises tried-and-tested designs built to the latest API 2C specification cranes at our Houston facility.

Like all Energy Cranes designs, the emphasis is on delivering cranes which are rugged, easily operated, readily inspected, and simple to maintain.

Booms

• Fabricated in sections from high grade structural tubing cords and lacings, with stainless steel pins connecting the sections.
• Optional jib extension to accommodate auxiliary fastline
• Large diameter Nylatron sheaves with individually greased roller bearings

Rotating Structure

• Slew bearing, gearbox and symmetrical superstructure mounted to a rigid base plate, minimising localised stress and deflection
• Three row roller or single ball bearing powered by multiple hydraulic swing drive(s)
• Rugged high strength steel A-frame with crows nest and access ladders
• Options of enclosed ‘full-vision’ cab or open-air ridearound control position. Hydraulic dead-man failsafe controls with associated instrument panels
• Angle/channel walkways with serrated galvanised gratings, handrails and toe plates, and safety drop-bars at openings

Rigging

• Boom Luffing: hydraulic planetary hoist with counterbalance valve controls boom hoist and lowering via pendant line/bridle suspension. Automatic hydraulic release brake and ratchet/pawl fitted.
• Load Hoisting: hydraulic planetary main and auxiliary hoists, with power load-lowering through counterbalance valves

• Diesel or Electric motor options
